Token Rewards: LEAF

This section of the litepaper provides a brief introduction to the LEAF token rewards of Project Forest.

LEAF is the primary token of the Project Forest ecosystem and acts as the governance token for the project. Participants and players of Project Forest will be able to earn LEAF tokens through their Tree NFTs once they fulfill certain level conditions and through other in-app events and scenarios. Players can spend their LEAF tokens to mint new Tree NFTs and create a virtual forest.

In Project Forest, LEAF will be compulsory to claim trees. It allows LEAF holders to conduct NFT transactions and investments and play games. In the future, goods and services will also be purchasable by using LEAF. The total amount of LEAF tokens in the Project Forest ecosystem is 9 billion.

LEAF is one of the other rewards players can earn by interacting with the app. LEAF will also be generated by trees in special features and events yet to be released as the development milestones progress. There are multiple ways to earn LEAF through Project Forest, but their specifics are currently unknown.
