This section of the litepaper outlines Project Forest's overall token ecosystem and its usage within and surrounding the game.

Project Forest’s ecosystem operates on a dual-token basis and consists of LEAF and O2. These tokens have a variety of use cases, individually and as a collective. These include making NFT purchases through the marketplace, making in-game purchases of consumables and resources, and unlocking soil pits, among others. LEAF and O2 and their use cases are explained in greater detail in the following sub-sections.
