The top navigation bar of the main interface consists of three sections. The main section, the middle one, showcases the number of trees planted, the avatar, the weather conditions, as well as the O2 and LEAF bars. Below this section is the total score of your forest.
Your avatar can be found at the top of the screen. By tapping it, you will be able to access your profile details and settings such as your email, password, music and sound settings, and sign-out option. At the top, you can edit your avatar and choose from a group of 20 unique and cool avatars.
On the right side, you will see different icons at different times of the day. This is the weather icon, and it indicates the seasons â precipitation, high temperature, sandstorm, volcanic eruption, and other weather. During the different seasons, the icon changes and depicts the particular season, and there is a chance the timing of the natural environment will trigger a season.
In the center of this section, you will notice the number of trees planted next to your avatar. Below this, you will see two bars in blue and green. The blue bar indicates the O2 tokens you accumulate, whilst the green bar shows the total LEAF tokens collected.
Below the O2 and LEAF bars, you will see a score tab. This score indicates the total ratings of your trees in the garden. The overall score of your garden/forest is calculated based on the sum of the scores of all the trees. Each tree has a separate rating based on its kind, attributes, and rarity.
The bottom navigation bar of the main interface consists of four sections (in order from left to right â Marketplace, Forest, Backpack, Consumables Shop.
The marketplace is the first tab in the Project Forest application. Players will be able to find trees of different levels, rarities, and attributes in the Marketplace and be able to buy and plant them by using O2 tokens. Currently, only a few species of trees from different regions around the globe have been released. As the project progresses, more species will be revealed.
The Forest is the main interface of Project Forest. Here, you will plant your trees in soil pits, nourish and nurture them with water and fertilizers, and collect O2 that trees release daily.
Resources that you buy from the Consumable Shop will land in the backpack. The backpack is divided into three sections:
Item
Seed
Tree
In the Closed Beta phase, every player is exclusively given 30 trees to plant and nurture. These trees can be found in the 'Tree' tab. Similarly, only small fertilizers, water, and the germinator can be bought from the Consumable Shop, which you will find in the 'Item' tab. Since Project Forest is still in the Closed Beta phase, the 'Seed' function is locked and will be released as the project progresses.
The Consumable Shop contains in-game resources like water, fertilizers, and the germinator. These resources are necessary for tree growth and survivability, and each resource can be acquired by spending O2 tokens. As for now, the Germinator has limited use-cases in the Closed Beta phase, details of which will be revealed in the coming future. Additions to the Consumable Shop will be added later.
There is an orange hand thumbnail with a click icon on the top right side of your forest page. This is the one-click feature that waters and fertilizes your trees simultaneously with a single click. Itâs a very efficient feature that lets you utilize your resources collectively, omitting the trouble of taking care of each tree separately. However, this feature is only unlocked after you have planted ten or more trees.
After clicking the one-click button, click the watering-can icon. First, the system determines the number of trees that need to be watered or fertilized. If there is sufficient water in your backpack, a pop-up window will confirm whether to apply the available water to the trees. However, if there is insufficient water in your backpack, a pop-up window will prompt you to purchase the amount of water and show the total cost. If the O2 required is sufficient, you can complete the transaction. Once purchased, tap the watering-can icon again, and the same pop-up window will confirm whether to apply the purchased water to the trees.
The same goes for fertilizers. After clicking the one-click button, click the fertilizer icon. First, the system will analyze the number of trees that need fertilizers. If there are no trees to be fertilized, or if the fertilizers are being utilized, a pop-up will notify that fertilizers are not required. But if trees are available for fertilizing, a pop-up window will indicate so. If you have enough fertilizers in your backpack, a pop-up window will confirm whether to apply the fertilizers to the trees. However, if you have insufficient fertilizers in your backpack, a pop-up window will prompt you to purchase the number of fertilizers and show the total cost. If the O2 required is sufficient, you can complete the transaction. Once purchased, tap the fertilizer icon again, and the same pop-up window will confirm whether to apply the purchased fertilizers to the trees.
The Carbon Offset Event can be found on the top left corner of the interface â a cloud icon with a 'CO2' badge. This initiative is currently under development and will be released very soon.
