❗Information

Information: A detailed page outlining the quality, kind, attributes, and O2 production of a tree.

This feature of Project Forest outlines the details of a particular tree, which include its name and region, rarity, attributes, and O2 production.

Tree Region, Rarity, and ID

In this section, you will find the name of the tree and which region of the world it belongs to along with a unique tree ID. Next to the tree image is a 'rating'. Each tree has a separate rating that is conducted after analyzing different aspects, details of which can be found in the 'Tree Score Calculation' tab. This rating adds up to the total forest rating at the main page of the app.

Tree Attribution

In the 'Attribution' tab, there are three bars. The first bar discloses the level of the tree, whereas the bar below shows how many seeds the particular tree has produced. In Project Forest, each tree can produce/mint two seeds that can be planted in soil pits for a unique tree. This feature is currently locked and will soon be released as the project's developments progress.

The third bar in this section illustrates the age of the tree. The first segment is the 'Growth' phase which is between the ages of 0-30. Next is the 'Mature' phase which lasts from the ages of 31-70. The final segment is the 'Senile' phase where a tree starts growing old and is from the age of 71-100. Trees keep growing in Project Forest. What changes is their O2 output, which gradually starts to decrease after the 'Mature' phase is completed. After reaching the age of 100, trees no longer produce O2.

O2 Output, Upgrade, and Withered

The final tab outlines the 'O2 Output' of the tree, which increases as the tree gains levels. Every tree in Project Forest has a distinct O2 production threshold.

Below the 'O2 Output' bar is 'Upgrade', which highlights the level points needed per upgrade of a tree level. Currently, every tree has a fixed level point threshold to upgrade. However, this may be subject to change.

Finally, we come to 'Withered'. This bar indicates the withering threshold of a tree. If trees are not watered for prolonged periods in Project Forest, they wither and enter the stagnant stage, after which O2 output is halted and the tree dies. You can read more about this in the 'Watering and Withering' section.
